Hello. My name is Lowri. I made this show because, to be honest, I was approaching my thirtieth birthday and I didn’t have a lot to show for my life. I had started working with people with dementia and I noticed that the things they had to show for their lives were disappearing.
This show is my attempt to make a tiny mark on a page.
The Secret Life of You and Me is part live performance, part art installation. It’s a heart-warming show about life, love, meanings and memory, which attempts to piece together the milestones of Lowri’s life, your life and all of our lives. A stunning scrapbook of storytelling, The Secret Life of You and Me is influenced by Lowri’s projects with people with dementia, conversations with strangers and a long distance relationship that spanned the UK and Brazil. The Secret Life of You and Me is about the space between us and how we connect across it.
